Stella is a young lady...only 2 y/o, and yes, she is a mix. We know for sure that her Mom was a basset
because we adopted out Stella and her other siblings when they were 4 months old. I would say her
Daddy was probably a Beagle. Stella's had a very happy life, but her hunting instincts go beyond just
tracking and chasing...if you know what I mean! She's only hunted wild rabbits, but since there's no way
we can train her NOT to do this, it would be best that we take the precaution and place her in a home
with other bassets or larger dogs....no cats....no small dogs....no ferrets...and of course no pet rabbits.
Stella is house trained and loves to cuddle on the sofa with her humans. She does not need to be
crated and is not destructive. She has an easy going disposition and gets along great with the other
bassets in her foster home. Overall she's a sweet and lovable girl!
