Pick me! Pick me!! My name is Laydee and I’m the happiest 5 1/2 year old girl you’ll ever meet! I was at the Waddle, but no one adopted
me. And then I was at an adoption event and no one picked me there either. I think I look too old and I am a little pudgy. But my looks
deceive you! I LOVE to play, and chew on Nylabone’s and chase and roll around on the floor. Of course I am a Basset Hound, so I’ll have
no problem catching a nap (or ten naps) on your couch. But if you must walk me, please have patience. I really don’t like leashes. They
are far too restricting. As for my weight (how embarrassing), I’m just 50 pounds and I’m still losing weight!
I would do great in a house with other dogs because I’m like Tigger – I love everyone! And kids…I love kids! They can play me all they
want because it means I get more attention and I love that. My tail does not stop wagging and I don’t have bad days. Everyone loves me
because my fur is soft like rabbit fur and I like to smile at you when I’m laying down (see photo). I like my crate when you leave, I love ice
cubes, I don’t eat much, and I’m not much of a barker. And did I mention I like attention? So please pick me…I’m getting antsy to move to
my new home!
